More Spring Break Fun

To finish off our Spring Break week we planned a trip to San Diego with our friends, Brandon & Shelley. We started off at Balboa Park, but gave up on it pretty quickly. The boys had seen a bouncy house place off the freeway and wouldn't stop talking about it while at Balboa park so after about 30 minutes of me insisting that there would be something fun at Balboa and not finding anything, I lost. We never go to San Diego without eating at PF Chang's so we had dinner there (mmm...Mongolian beef) and then went to a Padres baseball game. Thanks to Brandon's parents, we got some really good seats and had a great time! We were going to "Park at the Park" for $5 and sit on a blanket which we've done before, but now we've been spoiled with club seats and I don't think we can ever go back! The next day we went to the Point Loma tidepools and the lighthouse and saw a lot of cool sealife. Even though we had talked to the boys about it being against the law to take anything with you, Ethan confessed on the way home that he had a hermit crab in his pocket. I'm telling you, he is going to be the one that keeps me up at night wondering. Overall, it was a fun week but you know me, I like to get back into the routine.
